The 1st Place Engineering Model Crane was designed around a hexagonal base to maximize stability and strength while minimizing weight. I calculated structural stresses and optimized each member for efficiency, then fabricated and assembled the crane under strict budget and load constraints. To document the full design process, I produced a 10-page engineering report detailing calculations, material choices, and testing results.
